Facebook is a marketing tool growing in reach and popularity.

It is always a great idea to learn how to use a tool properly, so you can make sure you use it to its full potential. If you’re looking to grow your knowledge, our courses are a great place to start. Best of all, you’ll take a detailed “how to guide” home with you, so you can refer to it as often as you like. We have created two Facebook workshops, one focuses on your business page and the other on advertising.

Maximising Your Facebook Business Page
This workshop is aimed at people who have a page but are not yet using it to it’s full potential. You may have set up your page but are unsure of what features are available to you. To find out more about this course and the content covered, click here.

Facebook Advertising
This workshop is aimed at people who use their Facebook business page regularly, are confident with Facebook and are looking to utilize the advertising capabilities of the platform. Facebook Advertising will thoroughly cover the basics of setting up Ad Manager and an advert, as well as differences between different advertising options, budgets, target audience and rules of Facebook advertising. Terms and Conditions: Facebook Advertising


  • Photographs will be taken at the course, attendees’ consent to this as part of their attendance.
  • Feedback submitted will be used as testimonials, with just the first name of the writer (no last name or business names used).
  • Cancellation policy: cancel two weeks prior to course for a full refund, one week prior to course get 50% refund and less than 24 hours prior, no refund.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event if required, if this occurs a full refund will be provided and attendees will be notified.
  • All courses are subject to minimum attendee numbers of 10 people.  JFM reserve the right to cancel courses that don’t reach those numbers and will either give a refund or offer an alternative date (if available), depending on the preference of the person who has booked.
  • All clients must pay for the workshop prior to attending.
  • For the Facebook Advertising course, you must at a minimum have a Facebook business page that you have set up and actively use.  This course is is not for those without a Facebook page or current working knowledge of Facebook.
  • Future dates for 2018 are indicative only, subject to change.

Father’s Day Framed Prints competition:
Thank you for your interest in entering our competition for a free framed print for Father’s Day.  The Terms and Conditions are as follows:

  • Entries are only valid if person has liked JFM’s Facebook page, nominated which image they want to win and told us what makes a special dad.
  • The person who likes and comments will be entered into the competition, not any person who is tagged in the post.
  • If the post is shared, the person must comment on the original post on JFM Marketing + Design’s page to enter.
  • Entries open between 14/8/17 and 24/8/17, entries received before and after these dates will not be eligible.
  • Competition closes 11.59pm on the 24/8/17.
  • Frame colour and size is an indication only, subject to change.
  • Entrant must be able to pick up the frame from JFM’s studio at 390 East Street Ashburton between 8am – 5pm between the 28/8/17 and 1/9/17.
  • The winner will be drawn randomly and the decision is final.
  • The winner will be notified via Facebook by JFM, non-winning entrants will not be notified.
