Precision Cutting – Brand Launch

? The Dream We were honoured to deliver a full rebrand for the fabulous Amanda and Josh O’Malley at Precision Cutting. This included logo and brand mark, collateral, signage, and website.

? The Recipe

The Precision Cutting icon has been carefully crafted to represent the quality and premium precision of the steel plate construction at Precision Cutting. The custom stylised ‘P’ icon creates a visual of cutting line work which represents precision, production, and excellence. These visual identities tie to the company values which are driven to achieve the best performance. The colours and gradient we have chosen are drawn from the tempering process. The rich tones of blue convey the feeling of stability, trust, loyalty, precision, and intellect. The full stop makes the brand name an absolute statement. It gives a feeling of assurance and confidence in the quality of their work.

?The Magic

The result is a brand that their whole team and community is proud of, and not to mention a handful of new clients!

*Consistent brand communication across all their collateral and channels

*Improved company reputation and visibility in the marketplace

*Ongoing access to support with all brand updates and marketing needs

Workplace Selfie Comp V2

We relished your entries to this Facebook comp earlier in the year so much – that we brought it back! The winner of the Workplace Selfie Comp V2 was DNA Hairdressing. We loved the creativity in this entry and appreciate that it probably took a few shots to get everyone in the frame!

Let us know – should we run this comp again in 2019?

Facebook No-Go’s and Oh-No’s

When you hit the go button on a Facebook post, Facebook rates it – so to stay on Facebook’s good side, we’re here to help you.

We were shocked when we found out Facebook doesn’t like when:

  • You use the words like, tag, share or sale (and any other overly promotional words – thats why we say liker, react or tell us)
  • You insert a link into your post (that’s why we always link in the comments)
  • You don’t use an image in your post
  • You repeat the same content

Are you surprised as we were to learn this?

4 Easy Steps to Facebook Engagement

How would you like to create Facebook posts that make your audience smile, nod, and take action?

When creating posts for social media, try to remember the AIDA acronym. This stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action.

Attention
Grab people’s attention with a catchy headline, cheeky statement or question.

Interest
Get them interested by telling them a wee yarn that relates to them or highlights a problem they may have. Entertain, inform, inspire.

Desire
Increase their desire by showing them that you can solve their problem, or highlighting benefits. You could provide them with an influential thought.

Action
Finally use a call to action. Now that you have called them up and given the reader some value – you can ask them to return the favour by taking part! Ask them to join in, share a thought, welcome someone, direct message or shoutout to a friend.
